Student Registration Information

 

Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by October 1.
Pre-School students must be 3 years old by October 1.
 
 
 
 

 

Please call your child's school:
  • Mary Bray Elementary School at 856-931-7807 ext. 6053
  • R.W. Kershaw Middle School at 856-931-1634 ext. 6062
 
The following information is needed for a parent to transfer a student:
  • Forwarding address to where the student will be newly residing
  • Forwarding school to which the student is transferring (address and phone number, if available)
  • Last day of student attendance in MEPS

Notice must be given 24 hours in advance for information to be processed.
 

 


Registration dates will be announced annually.  They will be posted on the MEPS website, the Mary Bray (Kings Hwy) message board, and will be included in the Mt. Ephraim Messenger newspaper.
 
If interested, call the Mary Bray office to have your child added to the registration appointment schedule.
  
 
Pre-School Only:
 
  • If the number of children that have been registered exceeds the number of available seats, a lottery system will be implemented. The Board of Education president will pull lottery numbers at the BOE meeting following the registration dates.  Parents are welcome to attend the meeting to witness the lottery.  However, all parents will be notified of the results by letter after the scheduled meeting.
 
  • All applicants must be received prior to the posted registration date to be considered for the program.

  • Following the registration process, parents will receive notification as to acceptance into the program, wait list, and/or lottery information.

 

Registration is by appointment only.

In order to register a new student, the following information is required from the transferring school:
  • Transfer Card
  • Health History
  • Report Card
  • Child Study Team records (if applicable)
Mt. Ephraim public schools requires the guardian to provide copies of the following documents for each registering student:
  • Birth certificate
  • Legal/Custody Papers (if applicable)
  • Immunization Record (kindergarten registration only)
  • Proof Mt. Ephraim Residency - Two forms (example:  Utility Bill and Tax Bill, etc.)
